Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wausau, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Excavation Common, 2,080 c.y. Concrete Curb and Gutter, 1,950 l.f. Concrete Pavement, 2,550 sy. Storm Sewer 12-42, 1,700 l.f. HMA Pavement, 600 ton. PVC Sanitary Sewer, 1,625 l.f. Concrete Sidewalk, 7,500 s.f. 4-8 D.I. Watermain, 700 l.f. Bids will only be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. A Performance Bond and also a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price, together with an executed contract in the prescribed form, will be required of the successful bidder. The City of Wausau reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award a contract in the best interest of the City of Wausau. The letting of the work is subject to provisions of Chapter 62 and 86 of Wisconsin Statutes and all pertinent sections of the Wausau Municipal Code. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN prior to the pre-qualification 2:00 p.m. on February 23, 202 to be considered for prequalification. Pre-qualification documents must be submitted to the Engineering Department and show sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract in accordance with Section 66.0901, Wisconsin Statutes. The Board's decision as to qualifications shall be final. The pre-qualification form is available online at wausauwi.gov.
