Renovations to the existing Highland Rim School in Fayetteville, TN. Bids will be received for specified bid packages. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by state law. Bids in excess of $25,000.00 require a 5% bid security by a surety licensed in Tennessee with an A.M. Best Rating of "A" or better, or a cashier's/certified check. Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the subcontract sum are required for successful bidders for packages over $25,000.00. All Labor and Material and Labor Only Bidders must include the Drug Free Work Place Affidavit. All bids must be submitted using the provided Bid Form. Bidders must comply with applicable Tennessee laws regarding criminal background checks for any employees who will have contact with students or access school grounds. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and accept any bid deemed in the Owner's best interest. No sub-contract is implied until a written sub-contract is signed by all parties.
