The Project consists of the construction of a renovation to classrooms at an existing school. Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education for the Classroom Renovations project. Lump sum bid proposals are required. Bids must be submitted with bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount. Bids shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Superintendent. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages and statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. All bidders must sign a statement of compliance indicating participation in approved apprenticeship and training programs. Bidding documents may be obtained upon receipt of deposit or fee from the specified provider.
