Site work for a water / sewer project in Puyallup, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work involves providing consulting, design, and engineering services for the 3rd St SE Water Main Replacement Project. The required services must be performed or supervised by individuals appropriately licensed or registered under relevant state laws and should have at least 5 years of design experience. The selected consultant is expected to handle preliminary survey, geotechnical investigations (noting that the utility may be in contaminated soils), potholing, permitting, and preparation of final engineering plans (including 90% utility plans and bid-ready documents) and specifications. Consultants must be experienced in creating construction drawings, bid specifications, and cost estimates, as well as managing public works projects that utilize WSDOT Standard Specifications. Responses should be concise, limited to ten single-sided pages (excluding cover and resumes), and include a statement that the project lead, key members, and subconsultants will not be replaced without prior City approval. Payment will be made by monthly City checks under a cost plus fixed fee consultant agreement template. The consultant is required to adhere to ADA and Civil Rights requirements of the City. Interested firms must submit one electronic PDF copy of their Statement of Qualifications, titled accordingly. Excessive length or overly complex responses are discouraged.
