Scope: The City has identi fied a portion of under-sized cast iron water main located within ard St SE to be upgraded prior to the completam of 24-006 Meekor Festival Street and the adjacent private development proposed at 115 2nd St SE The oxisting 6 cast iron water main is appr mately 165 feet in length and will noud to be upgraded to an 8 mam per city desiga standard section 400. The project will bogin noar the northern crosswalk located within and St SE and E Pimeer ami terminate at the tre junction located within 3rd St SR and K Meeker. There is a single water service connected to this mainline located at 201 3rd St SE. The City of Payallup, in accor dance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252 42 US.C. 2000d to 2000d-41 and the Regulations, heroby notifies all hidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursu ant to this advertisement, disad vantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportu nity to ssilmit hids in response to thie invitation and will not be dis criminated against on the grounds of race, noor, or national origin in consideration for an award.
