Remodeling of a municipal facility in Hagerstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

a. The existing Day Reporting Center floor system consists of 6,546 total square feet of a 2'x2' raised floor system that was previously covered with 2'x 2' carpet tiles. Due to delamination of the raised floor systems' finish, the existing carpet tiles and metal finish shall be removed to allow for the installation of 3/8" fire-rated plywood, 1/4 " Luan plywood, and the installation of new Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring. This project shall include a complete professional job consisting of the removal and disposal of all existing carpet tiles and metal finish. The installation of 3/8" fire-rated plywood and 1/4 " Luan plywood. All floor patching, screws, plywood, transition strips, and other materials required to prepare the designated area for the installation of 6,546 total square feet of new Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring, to be included by the vendor. b. County-provided fire-rated plywood shall be glued and screwed to the existing raised floor system after removal of the existing carpet tiles, vinyl base, and metal finish. c. All 3/8" FRT plywood and 1/4 " Luan plywood shall be provided by the County and shall be installed by the contractor. d. County provided 1/4 " Luan plywood shall be installed over the 3/8" FRT plywood to provide an acceptable substrate for installation of the new LVP flooring. e. New Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring shall be provided and installed to match the existing LVP material found in the kitchen area.
