The scope of work is for an annual contract to provide flooring repairs and/or replacements, which may include carpet, carpet tile, sheet goods, base goods, and installation accessories on an as-needed basis. The specific magnitude of the work will be determined by individual work orders issued by Palm Beach County against this annual contract, with work orders generally less than $100,000 each but potentially larger. The contract may be awarded for up to five years with an initial not-to-exceed cumulative amount of $5,000,000. All conditions and requirements for submission, consideration, and award, including SBE requirements and bonding requirements, are included in the contract documents. At the time of submission, contractors must possess all professional licenses or certifications required by the State of Florida and/or Palm Beach County for performing flooring repairs and/or replacements. Qualification packages must be submitted on the forms provided. No bid security or public construction bond is required with the qualification package, but bonding requirements for each project will be described in the invitation for quote/bid for each work order.
