This project involves the construction of the replacement of the Runway 1 and Runway 19 REIL (Runway End Identifier Lights) systems at Penn Yan Airport. The work includes providing and installing the REIL units, associated circuit connections, conduit, junction structures, and required measures for safety, security, and maintenance of traffic. Bidders must submit sealed proposals including on the face of the envelope the name and address of the bidder, project name, and the words “Sealed Bid.” Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price. Submitted proposals not recorded on the plan holders list shall be considered non-responsive. The contract does not allow for price escalation in unit bid items, and the contractor shall consider this when preparing unit prices for bidding. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal and to reject any and all proposals.
