The selected vendor will be responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of 91 total cameras in Rabun County High School's newly constructed facility. This includes installing 54 repurposed Verkada cameras from the current high school building and 37 new Verkada cameras to work with the existing district Verkada platform. The 54 repurposed cameras will be provided to the vendor as soon as possible. Each camera location will have a network jack in place, requiring two green patch cables per camera to complete the connection. The installation will include configuration and naming of the cameras, setup and editing of Verkada floorplans, which includes placing the cameras on the maps/floor plans. The vendor must remove all packing and debris, not using Rabun County Schools dumpsters, and ensure cleanup of the area so no debris that could injure students or staff remains. Proposals must include contractor information (company details, licensure, insurance, W9, and Everify affidavit), project approach and timeline (start/completion dates, methods, materials, site preparation), a detailed cost proposal, and a list of similar completed projects with three references. Proposals are evaluated on cost effectiveness, experience and qualifications, timeline, references and past performance, and quality of product and workmanship. The school is seeking 37 new Verkada cameras with specified models and mounts, all requiring a 5-year license with 60 days retention. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly labeled “RFP – RCHS Security Cameras.” Late submissions will not be considered. The selected contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
