Reference Number 0000412721 Bid Intent Not Available SCOPE: The primary work to be performed under this contract includes rehabilitating the existing asphalt and widening the asphalt pavement at varying widths to enhance Pace Street between 9th Avenue and 17th Avenue. These improvements will allow for the addition of dedicated northbound and southbound bike lanes, two-foot buffer lanes, as well as left, right, and center lanes. The project also involves installing missing curb and gutter sections on the west side of Pace Street, upgrading all curb ramps on this corridor to be ADA compliant. Furthermore, storm drainage enhancements will be implemented on the west side of Pace Street, starting from south of Mountain View Avenue and extending north to 17th Avenue. The drainage improvements include adding several inlets to existing storm sewer and adding additional storm sewer from Red Oak Drive, going north and tying into existing storm sewer near the southern King Soopers Parking lot entrance. The project will also include significant landscaping and irrigation improvements along Pace Street. Additionally, the Rough and Ready (R&R) Greenway segment stretching from Pace Street (north of 9th Avenue) to Mountain View Avenue will undergo a full reconstruction that will include removing the existing asphalt and concrete trail and constructing a newly aligned, regraded eight-foot-wide concrete trail. Related tasks will include site protection, erosion and sediment control measures, final grading, soil preparation, and seeding. BID CONDITIONS (Minimum Mandatory Qualifications): The Contractor shall be fully qualified to complete the work requested under this IFB as follows: The Contractor must have satisfactory completed at least two (2) other roadway widening projects of similar scope and complexity within the last 5 years. The Contractor's Project Manager and Project Superintendent must have satisfactory completed at least three (3) projects of similar scope and complexity that included construction of storm sewer within the last 5 years.
