Exterior Restoration of Holden Town Hall (DPW-CP26-01) This project work consists of an exterior restoration of an existing Town Hall building that is registered with the Local Historic District. General Project Information: The project consists of the demolition of the existing concrete ramp, stair and guard & handrail system, exterior siding and trim repair and preparation for new painting. Construction of a new concrete ramp and stair and the installation of new guard and handrail system. The painting of the entire exterior faÁade, with alternates for HVAC and granite step repair. For Section 09 0007 Painting, Section 23 0000 HVAC and Section 26 0000 Electrical. Construction of a new concrete ramp and stair and the installation of new guard and handrail system. The painting of the entire exterior façade, with alternates for HVAC and granite step repair. This project is being procured under the provisions of M.G.L. c.149. All Bids shall be submitted accompanied by a certified check made payable to the Town of Holden or a bid bond for 5% of total price proposal as bid security. One hundred-percent (100%) Payment Bonds and Performance Bonds are required upon entering a contract with the Town, if the price proposal is greater than $150,000. The Bidder must be DCAMM Certified in General Building Construction. The Town Manager reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive informalities in the bidding procedures, or to accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the Town of Holden.
