The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition and removal of improvements, structures, or other encumbrances in the Right of Way or Easement Areas. The selection will be based on the lowest, responsive, and responsible bid received. Bidders are responsible for reviewing updates to the solicitation and ensuring timely bid submission. A restriction of communication is in effect for the project, with communication only allowed as specified in the instructions to bidders. Violation of this provision may result in rejection of the respondent's submittal. Pre-qualification requirements: Only firms with current prequalification status for Right of Way Property Management Services issued by GDOT and a current prequalification certificate are eligible to bid. Bids from firms not currently listed on GDOT's prequalification listing will not be considered. Potential bidders not currently prequalified should consult GDOT's website for application instructions. The anticipated scope of work for the project/contract is included in Exhibit I. Compliance with all pertinent regulations (State/Federal/Local/Industry) is required. It is the responsibility of the respondent to obtain knowledge of rules and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work identified herein. The Contractor shall begin work when the Notice to Proceed is issued by GDOT. All work must be completed in thirty (30) days from NTP.
