Project Burgess Avenue Booster Pump Station Replacement The scope of work includes constructing a precast concrete pump station housing water booster pumps for the Burgess Avenue high service area. The work also includes approximately 450 linear feet of water main work. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: 1. Furnish and install a prefabricated concrete water booster pump station, including pumps, valves, pipes and associated appurtenances, instrumentation, wiring and conduit, associated electrical equipment, and all other accessories inside the pre-fabricated building as shown on the contract drawings. 2. Earthwork, sitework, and foundation work associated with constructing the pump station building. 3. Installation of 12-inch ductile iron water main, including all fittings, fire hydrants, gate valves, polyethylene encasement, trench backfill, solid sleeves, couplings, joints and thrust restraints, testing and disinfecting, and connection to the existing water main including coordination of shutdown of the existing pump station with the Dedham-Westwood Water District. 4. Demolition of the existing pump station as shown on the drawings, surface restoration, and paving.
