The project involves construction of the following two buildings: 1. Partial demolition of interior walls and finishes, and construction of a new exterior canopy drive through lane for the Clerk's Office. This also includes minor interior renovations. 2. Construction of a new EMS station on a pre-prepared building site. Instructions to bidders include: - Sealed bids must be submitted with an original and at least four (4) copies. - Information for bidders, including Instructions to Bidders, Bid Proposal, Bid Schedule, Bid Form, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Certifications, Insurance Requirements, Forms of Bonds, and other contract documents, may be examined at designated locations. - Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. - All bidders shall comply with the Tennessee Contractor's License law Section 62-6-119 regarding required disclosures. - Bidders may be required to obtain a Rutherford County Business License. - All bidders must adhere to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Rutherford County's non-discrimination policies. - Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening. - Rutherford County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or informalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of Rutherford County.
