Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Plainfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of various concrete projects at different sites for the Plainfield Park District. Sealed proposals are required and must be placed in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked for the project. The work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the contractor must pay all laborers, workmen, and mechanics at no less than the prevailing wage rates. Bids must include a bid bond or bank cashier's check for ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. No oral, faxed, or emailed bids or modifications will be considered. Project manuals are available at no charge. The Park District reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids, and accept only portions of a bid. The selected contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and executive orders, including those pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
