Award: R.R. Walton & Company, LTD for $1,455,391.97 Sealed bids for water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, curb & gutter and sidewalk construction, street excavation, base course construction and street asphalt pavement construction in the City of Jefferson will be received. The contract consists of: 8, 6 and 4-inch water main (2,200 lineal feet), 8-inch gravity sanitary sewer (600 lineal feet), 30-inch concrete curb & gutter (2,800 lineal feet), hot-mix asphalt pavement (2,000 tons), 4- & 6-inch concrete sidewalk & driveways (3,200 square feet), sanitary sewer lining (200 lineal feet), and manhole lining (1 each). Quantities and sizes are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. Instructions describe that contract documents must be obtained and reviewed before bidding. Each bidder must deposit, with their bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. The City of Jefferson reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
