The work consists of a sanitary, storm, and combined sewer main relay at the following locations: N. 6th St. (250' +- S. of W. Vienna Ave. to W. Vienna Ave.), N. 23rd St. (140' N. of W. McKinley Ave. to 240' N. of W. McKinley Ave.), N. 39th St. (W. Fairmount Ave. to W. Lancaster Ave.), N. 53rd St. (W. Center St. to W. Hadley St.), and W. McKinley Ave. (N. 23rd St. to N. 24th St.). All work must be completed by June 26th, 2026, within a continuous work period not exceeding 45 days. Residency requirements specify that 40% of all hours worked must be by city residents, with one quarter by residents in identified zip codes. The SBE requirement is 25% of the contract base bid with a mandatory SBE Compliance Plan and certificates. Apprenticeship requirements include at least one Laborer - Construction Craft, and if the contract is $500,000 or more, specified percentages of apprentice hours must meet residency criteria. Bid security of 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid must be provided. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of Contractor’s Base Bid.
