Renovation of a mixed-use development in Westwego, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Pre-K–8 Conversion at Worley Middle School, Project No. 2025-36. Bids must be submitted to the Facilities Department for the Jefferson Parish School Board until 2:00 P.M. on the specified closing date. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, and no bids may be withdrawn for at least thirty days after the closing time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Plans, specifications, and additional information can be obtained from Mathes Brierre Architects, APC, with a deposit required for hard copies and a fee for electronic copies on compact disk. Electronic bidding is also available. Bidders must submit their license number and email address when requesting documents. Documents returned complete, in good condition and unmarked within ten days after bid opening will be eligible for refunds as stipulated. A pre-bid meeting will be held on site for prospective bidders to review the job. Sealed proposals must be marked with the bidder’s name, address, telephone number, State License Number (if over $50,000), and the project name and number. Participation by minority and female-owned businesses and local businesses is encouraged. The project is classified as Commercial Construction.
