Renovation of a multi-residential development in Farmville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Burn Building Demolition and Renovation at 3634 Taylors Turn. The work includes renovations and modernization of the existing project, specifically: - Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to renovate apartments at 3634 Taylors Turn due to extensive fire and water damage. - Provide all other work as shown on the plans, in the Project Manual, and as required by codes and the authority having jurisdiction. All contractors must have proper licenses under state laws governing their trades. Instructions to bidders include: - Bids must be accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond of 5% of the proposal amount, based on the maximum bid price. - Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for the full contract price, unless the bid is under $250,000, in which case they are not required. - Bids may be delivered in person, by certain mail services, or electronically uploaded to the designated Sharefile account. No emailed or faxed bids will be accepted. Late bids due to internet issues or other reasons will not be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after closing time. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. - Provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity and payment of at least the minimum salaries and wages indicated in the project manual must be followed. - Contractors are responsible for following Section 3 economic opportunity requirements and relevant federal and state statutes regarding licensing, lead paint, and bid security. - Details for accessing complete plans and the Project Manual, as well as bid submission logistics, are provided through the architect and designated plan rooms. Questions that arise from the Site Visits are to be directed to the Architect at bids@stognerarchitecture.com. Question Deadline 03/11/2026 Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening.
