This project consists of providing all required materials to complete the construction of the 12-Inch Water Line Replacement. The work generally includes the installation of approximately 2,700 linear feet of 12-inch water line and approximately 90 linear feet of 6-inch water line along North Congress Street (US 321 and SC 49), including piping, valves, hydrants, connections, services, and all associated construction and restoration work. Specific details are included in the construction plans and technical specifications. Bidders must deposit security with all bids in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Bidders must be legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Law, with a Contractor License Classification of WL and Group Limitation of Group 4 or above. Each bidder must fully acquaint themselves with the conditions relating to the scope and restrictions of the work. All amendments and interpretations of the solicitation shall be in writing and issued by the engineer. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
