Site work for a water / sewer project in Sterrett, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and constructing, according to plans, specifications, and contract documents the Sterrett-Vandiver Water System Improvements Valve and Waterline Replacement Contract No. 3 DWSRF Project No.FS010154-04. The principal items of work are: 1. Installation of 4,000 linear feet of 6" Class 200 PVC Pipe 2. Installation of 9 valve clusters as per drawings 3. Installation of 3 fire hydrant assemblies used for flushing 4. Installation of 1 meter vault Question Deadline 03/09/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project, with a contract time of 180 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages will be assessed if the contract time is exceeded. The contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract, but such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid imposition of liquidated damages.
