The Town of Dartmouth will receive bids for the Garage Renovation Project at the Dartmouth Maintenance Garage located at 1048 Allen Street, Dartmouth, MA. The estimated construction cost is $800,000. Sub Bid work includes roofing and electrical. The project scope consists of garage renovation to Dartmouth Maintenance Garage located at 1048 Allen Street, Dartmouth, MA. The general scope of the construction work is briefly described as follows: Building garage renovations. Includes demolishing existing garage structure to the foundations. Renovation to extend original footprint of building out and have framing span full length and meet clearance height needed. Includes concrete work, carpentry, roofing and insulation, vinyl siding, FRP doors, overhead sectional doors, earthwork, paving, electrical, and heaters. The construction phase is expected to occur during the Spring and Summer of 2026. The construction period shall be for 240 calendar days. The work hours shall be as follows: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Contractor shall start the work under this Contract on written notice from and on the date set by the Awarding Authority and continue to completion with all practical dispatch and regularity so that the entire project shall be completed in a timely fashion. All bids shall remain in effect for 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded after opening of General Bids. Successful bidders shall agree to commence work and complete the Work in accordance with the dates set forth in the Bidding Documents.
