Renovation of an educational facility in N Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,205-square-foot educational facility.
A. The goal of this project is to replace the roof system at the Student Center Marketplace, and the connector between the Marketplace and Maclean Center. The increased insulation heights requires that adjacent assemblies be modified to increase their flashing heights relative to the roof. B. Roof replacement and related enabling work involves the following areas, and Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical work : 1. Insulated Metal wall panels to replace existing at Marketplace penthouse. 2. Masonry at penthouse wall base. 3. Abatement at Marketplace penthouse roof. 4. Window replacement with new curtainwall system (Alternate #1). 5. Masonry and masonry flashing work(Alternate #1). 6. Abatement of flashings (Alternate. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9 % for women and 15.3 % for minorities . The MBE /WBE /VBE participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 4.2 % MBE , 8.8 % WBE and 3 % VBE for all state and state - assisted construction projects over $ 150,000 . The Project consists of but not limited to Replace roof system & related work at flashings , metal panels , masonry , curtainwall and MEP work . The work is estimated to cost $2,150,000.00 .
