Renovation of an educational facility in Worthington, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received by the Worthington City School District for the Worthington Estates AHU Replacement Project. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Worthington City School District, ATTN: Tim Gehring, 200 E Wilson Bridge Rd, Worthington, OH 43085, and plainly marked on the outside "Worthington Estates AHU Replacement - Bid." All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates do not apply. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. Question Deadline 02/26/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Questions may be directed to and electronic copies of the Contract Documents, which include additional details, are on file and available by contacting Kurt Fansler, McKim & Creed at kfansler@mckimcreed.com. Summary of the Work: - Replacement of the existing indoor Air Handling Unit serving the building addition. - Replacement of electrical distribution panel and associated breakers and wiring. - New duct and coil piping connections between the new AHU and the existing building distribution. - Re-insulation of piping where insulation is removed by abatement performed under separate contract. - New building automation system (BAS) components for the AHU, integrated to the existing BAS at the school.
