The project consists of timber pier improvements, the supply and installation of a new aluminum gangway, and miscellaneous work. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Department of Fish and Game, Office of Fishing and Boating Access. Bids must be submitted on the forms furnished in the bid package, accompanied by a bid deposit of 5% of the bid value. Minimum wage rates predetermined by M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D apply. Proposals must include a properly completed Affidavit of non-collusion. Bids are subject to provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Sections 39F, 39G, 39H, 39K, 39M, and Chapter 149, Sections 44A to 44H. The contract is subject to all State Laws and Regulations concerning Minority Business Enterprises including Executive Order 237. The right is reserved to waive any informality or reject any or all proposals. An award will not be made to any contractor unable to complete the work by the specified deadline. The project shall comply with Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions, and the Contractor must complete the BABA Submittal Certification for all products used on the project.
