The contract will consist of the mechanical sweeping of approximately 195km of various road sections within the municipality to remove winter sand, litter, leaves and other debris that has accumulated. Additional sweeping may be requested but is not guaranteed. This is a two-year contract with the possibility to extend the contract for one additional year. To be eligible to submit a bid, respondents must register as a plan taker for this specific bid opportunity. As a condition of award, the awarded contractor must complete the town’s Contractor Safety Program prior to the commencement of any work. Electronic bid submissions only shall be received via the Town of Fort Erie’s biddingo.com web portal. Submissions received in any other manner will not be accepted. All tenders must be accompanied by a Digital Agreement to Bond and a Digital Bid Bond in the amount of $9,500 payable to The Corporation of the Town of Fort Erie. All communications in relation to this tender must be submitted via the Bidding System. The Corporation of the Town of Fort Erie reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and the lowest or any submission will not necessarily be accepted.
