The Work includes a collection of tasks and related specifications that have pre-established Unit Prices. A Job Order Contract (JOC) shall be used for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition, and construction of infrastructure and buildings by means of individual Job Orders issued under the JOC. The intent and purpose of this solicitation is to establish a JOC with a twenty-four (24) month initial contract term with the Work to be carried out in the Northern Region of California Area 1 and 2. The DGS JOC program is established in accordance with California PCC §10113 et seq. Bidders must hold a CSLB License B and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as a public works contractor. Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with all health and safety mandates. The successful bidder shall provide payment and performance surety bonds as prescribed by the State. Only those contractors who have attended the mandatory pre-bid conference are eligible to submit a bid. Vendors are recommended to register on the Cal eProcure website for notifications.
