The new Project is estimated to be 1,414 square yards of parking lot, 7,788 linear feet of roadway split up between 2 nd St., W. 1 st St, Hedeman, Northwest Ave., and the adjoining stub streets. However, interested bidders are required to take their own measurements as the City will no guarantee the accuracy of the estimated area as provided for the sole purpose of conveying project scale. A. Generally, work shall consist of: I. (Small parking lot at Diekroeger Park) Milling a butt joint at the entrances to 2nd St. Installing 6" of asphalt pavement in two lifts to the gravel parking lot. (Sub grade to be prepared by Public Works Department) II. Mill existing at concrete and side roads for proper matching to all adjoining roads located in the project area. Clean entire street with power brooms. Identify and notify the City of any existing and/or potential problems with the roadway or other related road structures and materials. III. Tack coat with SS-1 tack coat at a rate of 0.08 minimum, Install 1" leveling course of new asphaltic concrete materials. Re-tack coat at a rate of 0.05 minimum and pave 2" with BP-2 asphalt pavement.
