Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Platte City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 12,805-square-foot educational facility; 1,788-square-foot educational facility; and 6,048-square-foot educational facility.

The Platte County R-3 School District is seeking bids for carpet replacement at three district locations: Platte City Middle School, Siegrist Elementary, and Barry Elementary. Specific areas and square footage are listed for each building, along with the required carpet manufacturer, style, color, size, installation method, and cove base specifications for each site. Bidders are required to remove some classroom tile at Siegrist Elementary. All materials must be installed according to the specifications provided, including the use of specified cove base. Each sealed bid must include: Acknowledgement of Terms of Proposal, Statement of Bidder’s Qualifications, Affidavit Affirming Company, Deviations and Exceptions, Project Scope, and Supplier Information. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes labeled to the attention of the Executive Director of Operations at the district office. Late bids will be returned unopened. Bidders wishing to schedule a pre-bid walk should contact the Executive Director by the specified date. All questions about the RFP must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the District. Bidders must quote net costs including transportation and installation, and must have at least three proven clients of similar size. Changes to specifications are only allowed by written addendum issued by the District. It is the bidder's responsibility to thoroughly examine all documents and request clarifications as needed. The district may award the contract in whole or in part and acceptance of the proposal within ninety days of closing constitutes a binding agreement. Compliance with Missouri prevailing wage laws is required if the bid is over $75,000. All printed and signed responses must be received by the specified deadline.
