Renovation of a mixed-use development in Platte City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and detention facility.
The work includes construction of roof replacement for the Platte County Law Enforcement Building at 415 East Third Street and the Juvenile Services Building at 508 Third Street, Platte City, MO. The new work consists of removal of the existing roof, replacement of damaged insulation, application of a new roof, new sheet metal parapet coping, roof scuppers, and downspouts. Bid submittals must be made through the Platte County online ebidding portal. No hand delivered bids, faxes or emails will be accepted. Contractors are responsible for returning and attaching all required forms listed under the “ATTACHMENTS” tab, including: - Attachment 1: Scope of Services/Project Specifications - Attachment 2: Bid Form 004113 - Attachment 3: Declaration Page - Attachment 4: E-Verify Affidavit of Compliance All bidders must comply with federal, state and local regulations and maintain necessary licenses and permits. Contractor and subcontractors must comply with worker eligibility requirements and OSHA ten-hour training requirements for on-site employees. The awarded contractor will be provided with a Missouri Project Exemption Certificate for sales and use tax exemption on materials for the project. The county may issue written addenda if it becomes necessary to amend the bid. The property is available for examination by bidders during regular weekday business hours, with roof access requiring a ladder provided by the bidding contractor.
