Platte County, Missouri is requesting the services of a consulting engineering firm to provide professional design services for the improvement of bicycle and pedestrian facilities along Route 45 at the I-435 interchange, between Homer Parkway and NW Brink Meyer Road. The submission should include a letter of interest limited to no more than 6 pages and should cover the project approach, project team and experience, similar completed projects, and any other relevant information for the selection process. A Statement of Qualification (limited to 10 pages and including team resumes and firm profile) must also be submitted. Proposals will be evaluated on project approach, specialized experience and technical competence, capacity to perform the work within time limitations, past performance (including cost control, quality, and scheduling), and familiarity with the project area. Consultants are encouraged to include value-added benefits in their proposals. Proposals are scored using a rubric based on the listed criteria and level of effort, as well as experience and design approach.
