Sealed bids or electronic bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Alcorn County, Mississippi for the construction of 4.572 miles of Overlay on Road A-Holly Church Road (CR 713) and Road B-Henson Road (CR 702), known as Project No. SAP-02(20)M. The project shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Contract time is 40 working days. Bids will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities. Bidders must ensure minority business enterprise participation and non-discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each proposal. Proposals must not contain any qualifying letters; such proposals will be considered irregular and not considered for award. The entire proposal must be submitted for both paper and electronic bids. Bids will only be accepted from those whose name appears on the official list of plan holders.
