Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Corinth, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Sealed bids are invited for the Corinth Coliseum Theater - Restroom Renovation in Corinth, Mississippi. The work generally consists of the renovation of the restrooms and concessions area, along with mechanical and electrical work. The contractor is responsible for performing all work and providing all labor, equipment, and materials as required by the specifications and drawings. Contract time is 180 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law with a current Certificate of Responsibility from the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. The Certificate of Responsibility Number must be shown on the bid envelope. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate using the form included in the Project Manual and accompanied by a bid guarantee of at least five percent of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each for 100 percent of the contract amount. Bids cannot be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid and encouraged to inquire about subcontracting opportunities. The City of Corinth is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will not discriminate in consideration for an award. Bid documents are available via paper copy and digital file at www.bsaplanroom.com. There is no cost to view documents online; paper and digital copies can be purchased with a non-refundable fee. Electronic bids may also be submitted through the same website. The City of Corinth reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities whenever it is in their best interest. The work generally consists of the following items: 1. Mechanical and Electrical Work The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. Contract time shall be 180 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of the actual costs, expenses and other losses reasonably incurred by Owner for each consecutive calendar day beyond the specified contract time.
