Question Deadline 02/27/2026 Prospective Bidders desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Bid Documents, shall request the explanation or interpretation in writing by close of business four (4) business days preceding the bid opening to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their Bids. All questions should be directed to Brad Cooper, PE, at (509) 966-7000 or bcooper@hlacivil.com. Replacement of the Town's existing water main with approximately 24,150 LF of 8" and 12" PVC water main, gate and butterfly valves, water services, new fire hydrant assemblies, and all associated surface restoration. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a bond or a certified check payable to the order of the Treasurer of the Town of South Cle Elum for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the Clerk on or before the stated day and hour. All PWB requirements and/or provisions must be met by the Contractor and all subcontractors. All bidders and contractors performing work on this project must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State and must meet the Bidder responsibility criteria defined in RCW 39.04.350. The Town of South Cle Elum reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the Town of South Cle Elum.
