Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Honolulu, Hawaii. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 370-unit multi-residential development.
The Hawaii Community Development Authority is planning a 370-unit, 99-year leasehold residential project for the corner of Ward Avenue and Kapiolani Boulevard in Kakaako. Thought the project had been paused due to leasehold restrictions, a new law passed is allowing the project to resume. As of June 25, 2026, a developer has not been selected and a timeline for construction has not been established. The development authority will not be able to move forward until all rules for the new have been established and implemented.
