The intent is to obtain the services of a qualified General Contractor for interior renovations at the existing County-owned facility at 41975 Loudoun Center Place, Leesburg, Virginia. The project involves renovation of approximately 7,404 gross square feet on the first floor and 14,741 gross square feet on the second floor of the two-story building, providing program spaces for the Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS) Department’s Community Access Program (CAP), Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program (PSR), and Prevention and Intervention (PI). Around 4,153 square feet on the second floor will remain in its existing condition and may be partially used for secure equipment storage by the Department of Information Technology (DIT) during construction. The project also includes site and exterior improvements to sidewalks, ramps, stairs, and landings to meet accessibility requirements at all building entry points. The General Contractor is responsible for maintaining safety and security for adjacent properties and the public and must adhere to all local and state ordinances regarding work hours, noise, and site operations, coordinating with County representatives to minimize operational disruption. No portion of the renovated space may be occupied prior to full completion and passage of all required inspections.
