Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cascade, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

The project consists of the construction of a 10-foot-wide paved pedestrian and bicycle pathway along the North Fork Payette River from Kelly's Whitewater Park to East Pine Street in the city of Cascade, Idaho. The paved pathway will meet ADA accessibility trail guidelines. An existing culvert under the path is located approximately 175 feet north of the eastern end of Pine Street, and will be replaced as part of the project. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to City of Cascade in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidder shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder as evidenced by a certificate of insurance. This project is funded in part by funds distributed through Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) who is not a party to this Invitation to Bid or any resulting contract. Idaho requirements for public works contracting will apply. Prevailing wage rates are required. Award of the contract will be contingent upon compliance with Idaho public works contracting requirements, bid requirements, and available project funding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids as set forth above. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed forty five (45) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
