The County of Greenville is soliciting proposals from vendors to provide pool chemicals and maintenance services for twelve county-owned pools and water features, with separate chemical and filtration needs. The commercial pool facilities include three waterparks, one indoor aquatic complex, and one therapeutics pool. The contract term is one year with the possibility of four annual renewals. The contractor must be capable of providing all chemicals and maintenance services specified, as well as having the ability to repair and service all pool equipment on an as-needed basis, including chlorinators, UV systems, pH controls, pool automation systems, and filters. Contractors must furnish all materials, equipment, machinery, tools, transportation, licenses, and labor needed to provide all products and services per specified requirements. Contractors are responsible for conversion costs if equipment or chemicals are replaced and must provide training to County staff. Maintenance and repair services for all chemical, filtration, pump, and pool systems must be provided as needed. Routine maintenance services must be provided during normal business hours, and emergency requests must be responded to within 24 hours. Authorization from the County is required before completing any repairs. Compliance with all applicable regulations regarding licenses, permits, and certifications is required.
