The County of Greenville is seeking sealed proposals from vendors for property acquisition consultant services for the Greenville County Flood Mitigation Acquisition Program. The selected consultant will provide expertise to advise and assist with evaluating, planning, managing, and executing various buyout programs. These programs are funded by the County and various State and Federal agencies. Approximately ten to twelve parcels are expected to be purchased annually, though the County may purchase more or fewer services. The desired contract period is one year, with the possibility of four annual renewals. The overall aim is to acquire and remove flood-prone properties to eliminate future flood damages to these properties and their inhabitants.
