Removal of existing carpet and base, surface preparation, and installation of new flooring materials – including carpet, quartz tile, sheet vinyl, and sealed concrete with new base – in designated rooms and office areas. Contractors desiring to bid on this work shall be presently licensed by the Nevada State Contractors Board and shall maintain a valid Contractor’s License for the duration of the construction project. Any and all Subcontractors utilized must also be licensed and maintain a valid license for the duration of the project. All licensing requirements as specified in Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 624 must be strictly adhered to. Contractors must carry and provide evidence of required insurance liability coverage as specified in the Liability Insurance Specifications, identified in Section 00800 – SUPPLEMENTARY GENERAL CONDITIONS. Interested parties may NOT contact anyone else regarding this solicitation other than the named Procurement Professional. Any interested bidder contacting other WCSD staff, officials, evaluation committee members, or Board of Trustees may have their Bid submission rejected from evaluation and award consideration. Plans and specifications are available at WCSD’s Purchasing Department website. There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting at Robert McQueen High School; contractors are highly recommended to walk the project site. Physical work is to commence upon issuance of a “Notice to Proceed” or as phased in Special Notifications, and must be completed on or before the specified completion date.
