Site work for a municipal facility in Rantoul, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Rantoul Public Safety Training Facility - Site Improvements, which includes the furnishing of all equipment and labor necessary for excavating, sewer/storm work, pavement, fencing, stockpiling, and other incidental work. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, bank cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable without condition to the Owner, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute the Agreement in accordance with the Specifications and other Contract Documents, and will furnish sufficient bond for the faithful performance of the work. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies, requiring payment of prevailing wages for each craft or type of worker needed. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, considering conformity with the specifications and contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to determine responsibility at the time of award, to reject any or all bids, to re-advertise, and to waive technicalities. Pre-Bid Meeting: Yes
