The project consists of installing emergency backup generators at three well sites. Sealed bids are required for this construction. Each bid must be marked externally as "SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - CONTRACT C - GENERATORS." For any bid over $50,000, the contractor's current certificate of responsibility number must be on the outside of the envelope, or a statement indicating the bid does not exceed $50,000. For electronic bids, this information must be included as an attachment. Each bid must be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond, certified check, or bank draft payable to the EAST PONTOTOC WATER ASSOCIATION, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to bid and to explore subcontracting and supply opportunities. All contracts awarded are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Associations Infrastructure Grant (RWAIG). This procurement is subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972 and specified provisions of the Uniform Guidance and federal regulations. Bids may be held up to 90 days after opening for review and qualification. The association reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities in bidding.
