Scope of work shall be, but not limited to, to include all labor, tools, equipment, materials for the interior and exterior painting of the water tower, inspections, cleaning and maintenance operation, repairs, and follow all Ohio EPA required standards. Mandatory in person Pre-bid meeting attendance is required. Contract documents must be requested from the Village to be considered a registered plan holder and submit a bid. Each bidder must provide General Liability Insurance, Ohio Workers Compensation Insurance, and a Bid Bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid with the bid submission. This bond also serves as Performance and Payment Bond if awarded the contract. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party submitting the proposal and all people interested therein. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner requires that certain parts of the project be completed within eight months from the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor, and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 and the Governor's Executive Orders of 1972 and 84-9.
