The work consists of the 2026-1 CCMG Paving and associated work items on various county roads throughout Jennings County, Indiana. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the project title and bidder's name and address, using the bid forms specified in the contract documents. Each bid requires a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond for not less than five percent of the bid total, made payable to the Owner. Approved performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price are required at contract execution and must remain in effect through the construction contract term plus twelve months after substantial completion. If the project is $150,000 or more, the bidder must submit a written plan for an employee drug testing program that complies with Indiana state requirements. Each bidder is responsible for inspecting the project sites and reviewing contract documents and specifications. Failure to do so does not relieve any obligations related to the bid.
