Stockton University is seeking proposals from qualified architectural firms to furnish architectural services for upcoming projects on an on-call, as-needed basis. The work may occur within campus boundaries and at other remote locations owned, leased, operated, or controlled by the University. This is a set-aside contract for specific categories of Small Businesses, and bidders must be registered as a qualified Small Business with the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services by the time proposals are received. In conjunction with the University's Facilities Planning and Construction representatives and end user groups, the design firm will develop, review, modify, and validate the building program. The scope includes providing comprehensive sets of Construction Documents and Specifications, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Award, Permitting Sets, Conformed Sets, Construction Administration, and Project Closeout. Design work must address all communications/data wiring and devices within the building, with coordination between the architect, subconsultants, and University representatives. Specialized technology may be needed in some areas, such as classrooms, which will require appropriate infrastructure design. The design firm must be licensed in the State of New Jersey and include necessary engineering and specialty consultants such as acoustical, interior design, lighting, MEP, fire protection, and structural consultants.
