Anybody who wishes to submit a bid MUST obtain the documents from Gianforcaro Architects, Engineers & Planners Sealed bids are requested for the construction of a water storage tank at North Warren Regional High School, including all incidental work, in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Bids shall be for a single overall contract. All bidders, and general construction contractors and subcontractors, must be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and possess a valid Notice of Classification in the discipline of C030: Plumbing. Bids must be submitted using the designated proposal forms, in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder’s name, address, and proposal identification number. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least ten percent of the bid amount, but not more than twenty thousand dollars. Each bid must also include a Certificate of Consent of Surety that a performance/payment bond will be provided. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and possess a current certification for compliance with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. All applicable federal, state, and municipal laws and regulations apply. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to not award a contract for any portion of the project if necessary approvals are not obtained. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening date. No bid will be accepted that does not conform to the furnished specifications.
