Site work and new construction of a residential development in Killingly, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction project at Killingly Brick Yard, 128 Main Street, Killingly, CT. Bids must be submitted to the Office of the Town Engineer at Killingly Town Hall in a sealed envelope clearly marked with "Killingly Brick Yard" and the bidder's company name and address. Bidding documents are available on the Town's website and the CT DAS contracting portal. Bidders are responsible for checking for addenda. All questions regarding the bidding process must be submitted in writing to the Town Engineer by the stated deadline. There will be an optional prebid conference onsite for prospective bidders and their sub-consultants. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and qualified bidder, defined as the lowest bid from a qualified and competent bidder whose past work is satisfactory and who complies with all procedural requirements. The selected contractor must comply with specified Connecticut General Statutes. All questions pertaining to the bidding documents, bidding and construction procedures shall be directed to the Town of Killingly, Town Engineer, David Capacchione, dcapacchione@killinglyct.gov. All answers will be published via addendum and shall become part of the Invitation to Bid. The RFI submission deadline is March 9, 2026 at 2 pm
