Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Killingly, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The project consists primarily of the replacement of existing steam boilers and associated piping, and all terminal heating equipment; replacement of existing domestic hot water heaters, as well as selected associated piping; and replacement of accessory equipment associated with existing boilers and water heaters. There will also be associated general construction and hazardous material work required to execute the replacement work. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in an amount not less than 5% of the bid price, in the form and subject to conditions provided in the information for bidders. Surety bonds are to be made payable to the "Town of Killingly." The Town reserves the right to waive technicalities and to accept or reject, in part or in whole, any bid when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
