Disconnect and isolate all utilities (gas, electric, controls) per code. 2. Remove and properly dispose of the existing roof-mounted furnace and any associated components. 3. Remove outdated ductwork, supports, curbs, wiring, or piping not intended for reuse. 4. Maintain building weatherproofing and safety throughout removal. 5. Provide lift equipment and rigging as required. B. Furnish & Install New Heating and Makeup Air Unit The Contractor shall: 1. Provide and install a new outdoor natural-gas-fired makeup air/heating unit: Basis of Design: Reznor Model RPBL 500 Approved equals will be considered with complete technical submittals. 2. Provide and install a factory-approved roof curb or curb adapter. 3. Reconnect gas, electric power, and control wiring to meet code and manufacturer requirements. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to the Town Engineer, 172 Main St. Killingly, Connecticut 06239. To be given consideration, such requests must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
