Reference number: 20123634 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-02-23 There is provision for a tendering process for each tender No Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 7 Description The Municipality of Les Cèdres is requesting bids for landscaping work on the volunteer pavilion located at 145 Rue Valade, Les Cèdres, QC J7T 1S9. With reference to the bid specifications, here is a summary description of the work: a) Protection of surrounding areas, in accordance with standard practices and rules; b) Removal and off-site disposal of stone dust steps and their wooden edging, asphalt surfaces, concrete structures and large quarry stone walls, all in accordance with standard practices and rules; c) Removal, storage, protection, and relocation of precast concrete block steps and a traffic sign, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; d) Excavation of surfaces, earthworks, and rough grading to infrastructure levels, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; e) If necessary, transporting surplus excavated material that is not needed off the site. The City does not provide a site to receive the surplus material. The Contractor therefore becomes the owner of the surplus excavated material; f) Supply and installation of a concrete wall, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; g) Supply and installation of guardrails, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; h) Supply and installation of street furniture, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; i) Supply and installation of a geotextile membrane, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; j) Supply and installation of the granular foundation, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; k) Supply and installation of concrete for access ramps, curbs, sidewalks, and steps, all in accordance with standard practices and rules of the art; l) Supply and installation of machine-made concrete pavers, all in accordance with standard practices and rules of the art; m) Supply and installation of asphalt surfaces, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; n) Supply and installation of line marking, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; o) Supply and installation of turf, all in accordance with standard practice and rules of the art; p) Supply and installation of plants (trees, shrubs, and perennials), all in accordance with best practices and industry standards; q) Supply and installation of mulch, all in accordance with best practices and industry standards; r) Watering and daily maintenance of plantings, all in accordance with best practices and industry standards; s) Daily cleaning of the premises, all in accordance with best practices and industry standards. The Contractor must submit a preliminary schedule, which is not binding on the Municipality of Les Cèdres, within ten (10) days of the contract being awarded. A final, revised schedule must be submitted to the Client's Representative or Agent at the project kick-off meeting. The schedules must show the start and end dates for each item on the list. The schedule proposed by the Municipality is as follows: - Start of work on August 3, 2026. - Phase 1 to be completed by August 21. - August 21 presentation on the Desjardins stage; the west side of the building must be free of any obstructions. - August 22 Village Festival; The site must be fenced off and equipment must be fenced off and confined to the front. Safe access to the pavilion must be provided for citizens. - Phase 2 of the work must be completed in two weeks, from August 24 to September 4, in order to allow delivery access to the pavilion to be opened. - Starting August 24, phase 3 work and the completion of phase 2 work, with the exception of delivery access to the pavilion, may be carried out. - During phase 3, the traffic lane in front of the pavilion must be kept clear, except for asphalting and line marking work. - The work must be completed by October 16.
